Have you ordered from Temu?

Amazon have been one of the most popular online store where people shop for things online. Ebay is equally good too but recently, Temu broke into the mix and it's making a lot of headlines for offering great deals to people.

Have you ever used Temu? How would you rate the quality of their products?

I haven't ordered from Temu yet, but I won't lie, they have ads showing everywhere on the internet and that is very tempting to me. But I can see that most of the products are quite cheap, which is good , but I’ve heard mixed reviews, as some people say that some of those cheap products are fake, others say it’s actually decent. Right now, I can't really make any judgment until I buy a product from them. If I see something simple like a phone stand or any household items, I can try it. I don't think I can trust them with clothes right now.

I was talking with a friend last night about Temu and he told me that it's people who doesn't read product's description well before placing an order are the one giving all the bad reviews on Temu. He was honest about how misleading some of their products look online but if the description is read, the truth will be very clear on what someone's about to pay for.

I've been very skeptical to order anything using Temu because of the mixed reviews floating online on what I ordered vs what I got. I don't want to take that risk yet.

I share the same sentiment here. I have been using Amazon for most of my online purchases and it has served me so much since I started using it. Maybe things can change in the future, but at the moment, it is not what I have in my mind yet.

I have ordered from Temu in the past when I have seen something I needed, and it was at a fair price. I would be cautious about what I buy there, though.

It is always wise for one to be careful of what they order online though. As a person, what are the items that you can never spend money buying online?

What was the issue you had with your order from Temu? Which item did you purchase using their store?

Honestly I must be the last person to hear of Temu? I'm assuming it's another Chinese rip off store? If so I would NEVER buy from them as they steal intellectual property and reproduce items that undercut the original creator. It's theft plain and simple, and if you invest in this by ordering from them then I'm afraid you are causing real businesses to go out of business all together.

Regrets hits me very hard. Since I know a lot of people are not happy with using Temu, I keep telling myself to stay out and keep observing from the fence.

Temu is on the same level as Aliexpress. I know what I'm getting into whenever I buy things from Temu, but there are some people who believe they will be getting high end electronics for super cheap. I've only bought bootleg games and Pokemon cards from Temu. Also their 1 cent deals are scams, I watch this guy over on Youtube called "JacobR" who tried to get a Switch Lite, and a couple switch games with this deal. He had to add a bunch of random things to his cart to get the deal, and once he placed his order the Switch Lite, and the games were canceled but he still got the cheap junk he didn't really want. He tried his hardest to get a refund for everything, but they didn't want to give him a full refund and instead wanted to try and give him credit. I would avoid Temu if you want to get good things. Even Aliexpress has better tech on their website than Temu does.

“Ah, yes! Temu and AliExpress: the ultimate 'expectation vs. reality' showdown. It’s like thinking you’re walking into a fancy French bistro and ending up at the drive-thru of a fast food joint. Sure, you might score some gems, but remember, you’re rolling the dice on quality. 🍟 Just like life, sometimes you get a great deal, and sometimes you’re stuck with a DVD copy of 'Battlefield Earth' — and not even in widescreen. 😂

This is something I don't feel many think about, especially with the cost-of-living crisis sweeping most countries at the moment. If people can save money on something, they are instantly drawn to it. I feel places like Temu are taking advantage of the cost-of-living situation.

I am not saying that you shouldn't order from Temu. Maybe you need to do due diligence before going ahead with such just to be on the safer side. That is all.

This is a common thing with so many Chinese companies. It's why USA find it very hard to deal with their government because they enable so many bad stuffs.

The way that they keep letting everything go on without doing much about it is unfair to the people making use of their products. It is totally unfair to the people that one is not sure what they are getting when they order items from Chinese-based sites.

Haven't ordered from temu just yet, but i have come across a lot of reviews, some where good, but majority of the reviews where pretty bad, not to mention how the Internet uses temu whenever there is a downgrade.

Sorry to ask, but how does the internet use Temu when there is a downgrade?
