Are you married?

Just a quick get to know each other question... Are you married? If so, how long? I have been married for 13 years now to my amazing wife Heidi. Not my 1st rodeo though haha I had to go through a few bad experiences before I found the right woman.

I am married close to 25 years now and have known my husband for 30 years now. Life has shown us all ups and downs, thrills and upsets. But we continue to stay together, support each other and continue to grow in this relationship.

Yep I'm a happy married man! I've been married to my wife for almost six years now, it will be six on January 23. We started going out in late 2008 but we really didn't know each other. We broke it off, remained friends and got to know each other better. We decided to start dating again on June 1st, 2009 so yeah I know we were dating for a long time before we finally got married lol. Sometimes things take time though.

No, I haven't gotten married yet but I have 3 kids out of wedlock. I’m moving at my pace because truthfully being an adult has taught me that marriage isn’t something to hurry into just because others are doing it. I want to be prepared financially and also be with someone I genuinely enjoy spending life with, not merely to be able to say "my man.”. Nah, I'm not in for that.

I came into marriage with little experience and honestly it’s among the best choices I’ve ever made despite the challenges that come with it. Marriage taught me more about patience and communication, than anything else. You might believe you’re prepared until you live with someone and that's when you would know that maturity requires effort. It took me time to cope l, but I eventually did. One more thing is; you never learn everything at once, you learn as you go.

At the moment i am not married, but i am hoping to be financially stable enough to get married as soon as possible.
